The cost of living in North Cyprus is reasonable, and certainly lower than in most western European countries or in the USA. A student can live very comfortably in North Cyprus on a budget of 400-500 USD per month.
For an international student on a 50% scholarship, and living in the FIU dormitory in a double room, we calculate that a year’s education at FIU including all costs will require a total budget of 8,000-9,000 USD.
In comparison with other countries and other international universities, this makes FIU one of the most affordable study destinations for students seeking both a quality education and high standards of service.
The currency of North Cyprus is the Turkish Lira (TL). However US Dollars, the Euros and UK Sterling are all also widely used.
