The awards were given to the students who won the "Short Film and Scriptwriting" competitions organized by the Final International University as part of social and cultural events.

FIU Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yaratan: “We are gathered here to give awards to our winner students of the short film and scriptwriting competitions organized by FIU. As a university, we consider cultural and artistic activities to be important. University doesn’t only teach you academic knowledge but also prepares you for life. We offer courses to increase the cultural and artistic knowledge of our students. Together with the education and workshops they will receive here, our students become better equipped for their future. Our students from different departments have won the highest ranks in the competition we have organized, I congratulate them all and I look forward to their continued success”.

In the short film competition, Christopher Binoran received the first place prize, Ömer Dündar the second place prize, Ömer Özbek and Arda Kapukaya the third place prize, and Nurzhan Nurlanuly the special jury prize.

Eren Eren was given the first place prize in the scriptwriting competition, Dias Nurkin was given the second place prize, and Serhat Türkoğlu was given the third place prize.
