Final International University (FIU) 2022-2023 academic year opening took place with the "first lesson" given by Prof. Dr. Halil Güven. The program started with FIU Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yaratan’s speech. Followed by Prof. Dr. Halil Güven’s lecture delivered in English and Turkish. YODAK member, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Uzunboylu, Ada Kent University Rector Prof.Dr. Oytun Sözüdoğru, On Beş Kasım Cyprus University Rector Prof. Dr. Remziye Terkan, FIU Board of Trustees Vice President İbrahim Taşel, FIU management, academic staff and students attended the event, which took place on October 31, 2022 at the FIU Çatalköy campus. The event was broadcast live at all FIU campuses.

After the presentation, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Prof. Dr. Güven's by Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yaratan.
