Final International University Family and Women Research Studies Center Takes the First Step: Raising Awareness Against Violence

The Family and Women Research Studies Center, established under the Final International University to identify issues concerning family and women in society, conduct research, and develop projects, organized its first event on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The event began with an opening speech by the Center’s Director, Prof. Dr. Nazife Aydınoğlu. During the program, students shared their thoughts on violence in both Turkish and English. Additionally, Final International University academics, including Prof. Dr. Ece Müezzin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Turanlı, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pınar Özcan Tütüncüoğluları, and Lecturer Selim Akyulaf, discussed the psychological and legal dimensions of violence.

This meaningful event was recognized as a significant step toward building an equal and fair future. Final International University remains committed to raising awareness about gender equality and continuing its solution-oriented efforts with determination.
