Within FIU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the Departments of Business Administration, International Finance, and Tourism and Hotel Management all emphasize both academic and professional training. All these programs are approved by The Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and are currently registering students for the next academic year.

Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ercan Uygur noted that FIU aims to graduate high quality graduates with strong practical and applied skill-sets, making our students highly employable from the moment they leave the university.

In the case of the fields of Tourism and Hotel Management and Logistics, our students are not able to develop these skills through direct application but are given a job guarantee after graduation. 

Dr. Uygur also noted that for a society to succeed in both social and economic terms, investment in the education of young people is essential. The Faculty therefore puts a premium on ethics, responsibility, honesty and diligence, productivity and social sensitivity. FIU graduates will be critical thinkers and researchers, able to think freely and originally, open to innovative approaches, analytic, tolerant, and able to develop solutions to environmental and social problems. With such ambitions, Dr. Uygur stressed the importance put by FIU into ensuring the highest quality academic staff are employed to ensure that these goals are met.
