Final International University Tangül Çağıner Library participated in the Research Librarians Association (UNAK) 2017 annual Symposium, which was devoted to the theme of "Resource Management in Academic Libraries", and explored the latest developments in such areas as collection management, personnel recruitment, in-service training, subject expertise and faculty librarianship and electronic resource librarianship.

Final International University Tangül Cağıner Library Manager Halil Ercan and Library Supervisor Banu Erdoğan both attended the seminar, participating in symposium meetings and holding discussions with companies and scholars involved in the field of librarianship.

At the symposiom Tangül Cağıner Library’s full membership of the UNAK Association was announced, meaning that FIU will now be fully updated on all the latest developments in the field of librarianship.
