Final International University, with the cooperation of the Turkish Economy Foundation and the Turkish Cypriot Economy Institute, recently hosted the 19th National Economics Symposium of the Turkish Economy Society, with the second day attended by the Minister of Economy and Energy, Sunat Atun.

In the conference, entitled "Economic Decisions and Policies in a Time of Uncertainty: Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" Minister Atun’s contribution evaluated the change and transformation process resulting from the 2010-2012 Economic Program on the Turkish Cypriot economy. 2007-2017 period " the Turkish Cypriot economy of the day.

In a wide-ranging address, the Minister overviewed developments in controlling the budget deficit, bringing electricity from Turkey, and the search for narutal gas resources in the Famagusta Bay, due to begin soon, as well as support provided to the major sectors of tourism, agriculture and industry sources, both locally and by the Republic of Turkey.
