An academic and cultural protocol has been signed between Final International University and Cyprus Social Sciences University. The protocol will promote exchange of students for educational and research purposes, short-term programs, exchange of academic staff for teaching and research, joint research projects and publications, joint seminars, conferences and the organization of other scientific and cultural events. Cyprus Social Sciences University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tümer and FIU Rector, Dr. Abdullah Y. Öztoprak, signed the agreement on behalf of the respective universities at a ceremony at Cyprus Social Sciences University.

Dr. Tümer emphasised that cooperation between universities in Cyprus is a positive step towards increasing the quality of education, and will be of mutual benefit for all academic staff. Dr. Öztoprak expressed his belief that both the education sytem and the country will benefit from joint activities by the universities on our island, and noted that FIU has been receiving highly positive feedback regarding similar protocols that have been established with universities abroad.
