The 133 students who were eligible to receive “high honors” and “honors” certificates of achievement in the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year were awarded their certificates in a ceremony held in the University's Congress Hall. The ceremony was attended by university administration, academics, students and families. Students who were eligible to receive “high honors” and “honors” certificates in 17 undergraduate programs received their certificates from the University Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah Öztoprak, the Vice President of the University Board of Trustees, Ibrahim Taşel and the deans of their faculties.
FINAL UNIVERSITY PROMOTES NOT ONLY ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT BUT HOLISTIC SUCCESS
The rector, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Öztoprak, who gave the opening speech at the ceremony, stated that the determination and efforts of the students were admirable. He also stressed that the Final university promotes not only a student's academic achievement, but also their social, cultural, individual and community-oriented achievement.
Speaking to the students at the ceremony, Ibrahim Taşel, vice-president of the Board of Trustees of Final University, congratulated the students who had demonstrated their achievements with their grades and effort and advised them to raise their goals a little more in order to further themselves. Ibrahim Taşel, vice chairman of the board of trustees, said: “We, as Final University, offer you opportunities, we develop ourselves every day to offer even wider opportunities, and we receive support and ideas from you. In parallel, we expect your goals to be high. When you graduate, you are a candidate to work at NASA or other institutions around the world, to be a signatory to technological breakthroughs or to have creative ideas to be patented. We believe that you can look forward to many goals with your own efforts and contributions because you are receive this high quality education, and we have such great expectations from you”.
