Following a positive evaluation, FIU academic and vocational programmes are now accredited by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), and have been entered into the official Higher Education Council database (YÖKSIS).

With this decision, all the related FIU programs will be included in the 2017 Turkish Student Selection and Placement Examination Catalogue (ÖSYS) and FIU will start accepting students from the Republic of Turkey onto its North Cyprus campus.

UK NARIC Recognition

UK NARIC is the United Kingdom national agency for the recognition and comparison of international qualifications and skills. It performs this official function on behalf of the UK Government. Now that our FIU programs are accredited by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK),  they are recognised by UK NARIC as equivalent to degrees awarded by Turkish Universities. This means FIU students studying in North Cyprus will be eligible at a later date to apply to UK Universities.

Final International University Student and Placement Examination for TRNC citizens to be held on 2nd June

The official placement and scholarship examination for entry to FIU for TRNC citizens will be held on Friday, the 2nd of June 2017 at the Final University Campus, in Çatalköy.
