Dear Students,

First of all, once again, we would like to convey our best wishes to all the people of TURKEY, especially the region where a state of emergency (OHAL) is announced, due to the earthquake that took place in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023. In parallel with the decisions taken by the relevant institutions after the earthquake disaster, the following decisions have been taken by our University:

1. 2022-2023 academic year fall semester re-sit exams will be held on the dates specified in the academic calendar. If our students in the OHAL regions cannot attend these exams, they can take the re-sit exams to be held on a later date. (Students who can send an e-mail can make a request by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Students who cannot send an e-mail can also make a request to take the exam later.)

2. In accordance with the decisions of YODAK;

• There will be no changes on the dates of 2022-2023 academic calendar. 2022-2023 academic year spring semester advisor-approved course registration will take place on February 21-24 and the courses will start on February 27, 2023.
• Those residing in the OHAL regions will be able to attend classes online. All other students will attend face-to-face education. Courses (except for practical courses) will be held as hybrid (face-to-face and online together).
• Students in the earthquake-affected regions will be able to register for 2022-2023 academic year spring semester courses online with their academic advisors via e-mail. These students must be in contact with their academic advisors.
• Announcements on this subject (and on every other subject) will be sent to your e-mail addresses with the final.edu.tr extension provided by our university, and we recommend that you check your e-mails regularly.
• Our students who register online and attend online classes will also be able to participate in face-to-face education on campus if they request (whenever they want).
• Practical courses must be conducted face-to-face. The theoretical parts of the courses that have both practical and theoretical parts will be covered at the beginning of the semester, and the practical parts will be planned to be done after the theoretical parts are finished. The purpose of this application is to enable our students in the OHAL region to participate in face-to-face education in the future.
• In terms of evaluation and equality of opportunity in exams, final exams will be held face-to-face. Instead of the midterm exams, homework and project-like evaluations will be preferred. Our students who attend the classes online and cannot take the exams face-to-face will be given the grade of "I" (Incomplete), and these students will have the right to take a make-up exam at the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year fall semester.

3. Online education has been started in the Republic of Turkey. Students who want to study face-to-face in the current programs in our university will be able to attend face-to-face education at our university as a ‘guest student’, with the approval of the university they are studying.

4. For students who do not want to participate in online education and want to freeze their registration, there will be no freezing fee for the 2022-2023 academic year spring semester if they want to freeze their registration.

• These decisions have been taken within the framework of the decisions announced by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, TRNC Ministry of National Education, YOK and YODAK (Higher Education Councils of Turkey and TRNC) so far, and are subjected to change accordingly with new decisions to be taken by these institutions.

أولاً مرة أخرى، في مركز كهرمان مرعش في 6 فبراير 2023 بسبب الحوادث التي حصلت في مناطق الزلزال الذي حدث في (تركيا و سوريا) نعرب عن تعازينا لكل من تركيا وسوريا ، ولا سيما المناطق المجاورة التي تضررت.

بعد حدوث الزلزال جامعتنا أخذت بعض القرارات التالية الموجودة في الأسفل:

1.ستُعقد الإمتحانات التعويضية لفصل الخريف 2022-2023 في المواعيد العادية. إذا لم يتمكن طلابنا في مناطق (سوريا Ùˆ تركيا) من الحضور ØŒ فيمكنهم إجراء الإختبارات التعويضية التي سيتم إجراؤها في تاريخ لاحق. (يمكن للطلاب الذين يمكنهم إرسال بريد إلكتروني عبر ([email protected]) تقديم طلب.

2.وفقًا لقرارات YÖDAK وزارة التعليم العالي؛

• لن تتغير التواريخ في التقويم الأكاديمي 2022-2023 وسيجري التسجيل في الدورة التدريبية المعتمدة من المستشار في فترة الربيع 2022-2023 في 21-24 فبراير وستبدأ الدورات في 27 فبراير 2023.

• سيتمكن المقيمون في (تركيا Ùˆ سوريا) من حضور الدروس عبر الإنترنت. سيحضر جميع الطلاب الآخرين الدروس  وجهًا لوجه. ستُعقد الدروس (بإستثناء الدروس العملية) على أنها هجينة (وجهًا لوجه وعبر الإنترنت معًا).

• سيتمكن الطلاب في المناطق المتضررة من الزلزال من التسجيل في دورات فصل الربيع 2022-2023 عبر الإنترنت مع مستشاريهم الأكاديميين عبر البريد الإلكتروني. يجب أن يكون هؤلاء الطلاب على اتصال مع مستشاريهم الأكاديميين.

• سيتم إصدار الإعلانات حول هذا الموضوع (وكل موضوع آخر) من عنوان بريدك الإلكتروني مع ملحق(final.edu.tr) الذي توفره الجامعة ØŒ ونوصيك بمتابعة رسائل البريد الإلكتروني الخاصة بك بانتظام.
• سيتمكن الطلاب الذين يسجلون عبر الإنترنت ويحضرون دروسًا عبر الإنترنت من القدوم إلى قبرص (متى أرادوا) والمشاركة في التدريب وجهًا لوجه.
• يجب أن تتم الدورات العملية وجهًا لوجه. سيتم تغطية الأجزاء النظرية من الدورات ØŒ والتي تتكون من جزأين عملية ونظرية ØŒ في بداية الفصل الدراسي وسيتم التخطيط للأجزاء التطبيقية بعد الانتهاء من الأجزاء النظرية. الغرض من هذا التطبيق هو تمكين طلابنا في منطقة (تركيا Ùˆ سوريا) للمشاركة في التعليم وجهًا لوجه في المستقبل.
• من حيث التقييم وتكافؤ الفرص في الامتحانات Ø› سيتم إجراء امتحانات نهاية العام وجهًا لوجه. بدلاً من الامتحان النصفي ØŒ سيتم عمل واجبات منزلية وخطط شبيهة بالمشروع. يحصل الطلاب الذين يحضرون الفصول عبر الإنترنت ويفشلون في أداء الاختبارات وجهًا لوجه على الدرجة "I" (غير مكتمل) Ø› في بداية فصل الخريف 2023-2024 ØŒ سيتم منح الحق في التقدم لامتحان تعويضي.

3.بدأ التعليم عبر الإنترنت في جمهورية تركيا. سيتمكن الطلاب الذين يرغبون في الدراسة وجهًا لوجه في البرامج الحالية في جامعتنا من حضور تدريبات وجهًا لوجه في جامعتنا كطالب ضيف ، بموافقة الجامعة التي يدرسونها.

4.للطلاب الذين لا يريدون الحضور للتعلم عن بعد بالنسبة لمناطق (تركيا و سوريا) وهؤلاء الطلاب إذا كانوا يريدون تجميد حساباتهم يستطيعون أن يجمِّدوا الحسابات ولن تأخذ الجامعة أي أجرة لتجميد الحساب.

• تم اتخاذ هذه القرارات من قبل T.C. وقرارات رئاسة الجمهورية التركية لشمال قبرص Ùˆ(TRNC MEB) Ùˆ(YÖK) Ùˆ(YÖDAK) حتى الآن. ورئاسة الجمهورية التركية لشمال قبرص Ùˆ(TRNC MEB) Ùˆ(YÖK) Ùˆ(YÖDAK).
