Hosted by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center “Final GINOVA”, established by the Final International University, 1st Ünal Çağıner Entrepreneurship Competition, aimed at increasing Northern Cyprus's entrepreneurial potential, is set to take place. This exciting competition is being organized in collaboration with Creditwest Bank and the Turkish Cypriot Association of Women Entrepreneurs (GİKAD).

1st Ünal Çağıner Entrepreneurship Competition aims to inspire entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives in Northern Cyprus. Additionally, this competition, dedicated to the memory of the late Ünal Çağıner, intends to evaluate projects using neuroscientific methods for the first time worldwide, with an objective and scientific approach to determine the top three rankings. This approach seeks to analyze the potential impacts of projects based on a more scientific foundation.

Final GINOVA views this competition not merely as a university event but as an opportunity open to the entire community of Northern Cyprus. In general, it aims to expand Northern Cyprus's entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute to making the island a hub for entrepreneurship. The initiation of the competition, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Northern Cyprus's foundation, adds even more significance to shaping the future of the island.

The competition will begin with the "Technology Ventures" category and will be held in a different entrepreneurship field each year. The prizes include a first-place award of 100,000 TL, along with support for bringing the entrepreneurial idea to life. The second-place prize is 60,000 TL, and the third-place prize is 40,000 TL. Applications will be accepted between November 15, 2023, and February 21, 2024, with the competition's final event scheduled for March 21, 2024.
