The Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (SOBED – JOSSH), introduced to the academic publishing world by Final International University, has officially commenced its publication with a special inaugural issue in January!

Published online and fully open access, the journal will be released twice a year, in January and July. Featuring articles registered with DOI and undergoing a double-blind peer review process, JOSSH aims to serve as a high-quality platform not only for academic data from the higher education sector in the TRNC but also for scientific research on a national and global scale.

Committed to adhering strictly to universal principles of research ethics, the journal is expected to be indexed in national and international academic databases in the near future. The journal’s editor, Prof. Dr. Metin Karadağ, a faculty member at FIU Faculty of Educational Sciences, expressed confidence that SOBED will become a valuable academic resource. He also extended his gratitude to the university’s senior administration and Prof. Dr. Nazife Aydınoğlu, Dean of FIU’s Faculty of Educational Sciences, for her significant contributions to the realization of the journal as well as for her role as the language editor.
