Final International University Faculty Member Dr. Sara Kanzi Invited to CERN

One of the faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering at Final International University, Assistant Professor Dr. Sara Kanzi, has been invited to CERN, one of the world's most prestigious nuclear research centers, to conduct research from March 1 to March 31, 2025. During this period, Dr. Kanzi will carry out scientific studies in the Department of Theoretical Physics.

CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) is the world's largest particle physics laboratory, located near Geneva on the France-Switzerland border. Established in 1954, the center employs advanced scientific instruments to study fundamental particles and the smallest building blocks of matter in an effort to understand the fundamental laws of the universe. The high-energy particle accelerators at CERN enable physicists to explore the fundamental dynamics of nature by colliding subatomic particles.

CERN is an international collaboration project comprising 23 member countries and is recognized as one of Europe's largest joint scientific enterprises. The research conducted at CERN provides new insights into the nature of matter and the universe, contributing significantly to advancements in fundamental physics. One of CERN's most well-known instruments, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), has enabled scientists to discover fundamental particles such as the Higgs boson, making major contributions to modern physics.

Dr. Sara Kanzi’s research at CERN is expected to offer valuable contributions to the scientific community and the field of theoretical physics.
