Final International University, hosted a conference titled "Women and Law in TRNC and Türkiye, organized in collaboration with the Family and Women Research Studies Center and the Faculty of Law. The event, held on April 14, 2025 in Conference Hall II, addressed in depth the place of women in the legal system, their struggle for justice, and legal representation.

Speakers at the conference included Narin Ferdi Şefik, , former President of the Supreme Court of TRNC and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenan Eskimuhtaroğlu, a faculty member at FIU Faculty of Law. The event was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Turanlı, A. Dean of FIU Faculty of Law.

In her speech, Narin Ferdi Şefik particularly emphasized the representation of women in judicial processes in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the ongoing efforts toward legal equality. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenan Eskimuhtaroğlu provided an academic perspective on the rights of women in Turkey in family and inheritance law and made comparisons between the laws of both countries.

At the end of the conference, an interactive session was held with questions from the audience. Final International University continues to raise social awareness with events that bring women's rights and legal equality to the agenda.
