Aim

The main aim of ‘The Physical Education and Sports Teaching’ programme is to educate Physical Education prospect teachers to have self – confidence, strong public senses, ethical values, to relate to the fast growing knowledge stream and also adapt to technological developments, to pass on knowledge and skills, to mature academically and to be able to conduct their professions at a world standard level, to be able to be able to carry out their careers in every branch in the private sector, public sector and its organisations and also aid them to be qualified sports people for the needs of countries.

Our goal is to ensure our students are active participants in sport and academic activities of the country, to advise them in order to improve the quality of the life of people. Therefore, by providing scientific support to the island’s national and international sports our students will be able to take sports to the highest level.
