The Faculty of Health Sciences and the Family and Women’s Studies Application and Research Center (AKAUM) of Final International University jointly organized an awareness event titled “Breast Cancer: Are You Aware of the Importance of Awareness?”. The event took place on November 7, 2025, at Conference Hall II at 11:00 a.m.

Speakers included Op. Dr. Kamer Çorba Küçük from Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, as well as Asst. Prof. Dr. Günsu Soykut Çağsın, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aslı Özen, and Lecturer Caniz Ersümer Tonyalı from Final International University.

During the event, the importance of early diagnosis in breast cancer, the vital role of regular check-ups, and the impact of awareness efforts on public health were emphasized. Participants were provided with detailed information about the symptoms, risk factors, and prevention methods of breast cancer.

The event attracted a wide audience, including academics, students, and individuals interested in the field of health. In the Q&A session, attendees had the opportunity to engage with the experts and ask their questions.

Final International University emphasized its ongoing commitment to promoting women’s health and increasing social awareness through similar educational and awareness-raising activities in the future.
