Students from the School of Physical Education and Sports (BESYO) at Final International University achieved remarkable success at the Kyrenia Marathon, organized by Kyrenia Municipality. Competing in the 10-kilometer race, the students delivered impressive performances that brought pride to their university.
In the U20 Women’s category, BESYO students Sıla Korukçu and Ela Volkan finished in first and second place respectively.
In the U20 Men’s category, Halis Yunus Karalık claimed first place, while Burak Tiryaki finished second.
These achievements reflect the university’s strong vision for developing successful athletes through a balance of academic knowledge and practical experience. The School of Physical Education and Sports continues to support its students both academically and athletically, fostering excellence in sports education.
A BESYO representative commented on the results, stating: “We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements. Their success is a clear reflection of Final International University’s commitment to supporting sports and the development of young athletes.”
With these results, students of the Final International University School of Physical Education and Sports once again demonstrated the Final spirit and the pursuit of excellence in sports at the Kyrenia Marathon.
