“Being a Special Education Teacher” SemşnarHeld at Final International University

The Faculty of Educational Sciences and the Special Education Club at Final International University jointly organized a seminar titled “Being a Special Education Teacher” on November 24, 2025. The event, attracted strong interest and aimed to raise awareness in the field of special education while offering prospective teachers a professional perspective.

Prof. Dr. Atilla Cavkaytar, the keynote speaker, shared valuable insights on the societal importance of special education teaching, inclusive education approaches, and evolving instructional models. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in a question‐and‐answer session focusing on professional experiences, applied practices, and future directions in the field.

Students, academics, and individuals interested in special education attended the conference, which highlighted both the responsibilities and the humanistic dimension of teaching within special education. Attendees noted the symbolic significance of holding such a meaningful event on Teachers’ Day.

University representatives announced that similar academic and social events dedicated to special education will continue, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to strengthening awareness and promoting inclusive education within society.
