Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nafiya Güden, Director of the Ünal Çağıner School of Tourism and Culinary Arts at Final International University, has been appointed as the Area Consultant for Cyprus within the EMEA region of the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (CHRIE). This prestigious appointment was announced to the EMEA CHRIE Board Members, highlighting Dr. Güden’s outstanding dedication, professional network, and academic contributions across the island. In her new role, she will support the federation’s activities in Cyprus and contribute to strengthening collaboration among tourism and hospitality education institutions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güden is widely recognized for her work in tourism and gastronomy education and for her commitment to building strong connections between academia and the industry. As the Director of the Ünal Çağıner School of Tourism and Culinary Arts at Final International University, she has played a significant role in advancing academic initiatives, research, and sectoral partnerships.
