Final International University Faculty of Pharmacy Vice Dean and faculty member Asst. Prof. Peyman Pınar İnce participated as an invited speaker in an international symposium held on March 26, 2026, in Casablanca.

The event, titled “2nd International Symposium on Biochemistry and Nutrition,” was organized by MSNbio and hosted by Hassan II University, bringing together distinguished academics and researchers from around the world.

During the symposium, Asst. Prof. İnce delivered a presentation entitled “Nutraceutical Modulation of VGSCs in Cancer Therapy.” In her talk, she highlighted the potential role of nutraceutical compounds in cancer treatment, with a particular focus on their effects on voltage-gated sodium channels (VGSCs). She emphasized that certain natural compounds may modulate VGSC activity, offering safer and supportive therapeutic approaches, while also noting the need for further detailed research into the underlying molecular mechanisms.

In addition, meetings were held with the Hassan II University Faculty of Pharmacy to explore potential academic and scientific collaboration opportunities between the two institutions. These discussions are considered a promising step toward future joint projects and partnerships.
