Final International University has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, scientific development, and international cooperation through a newly signed collaboration agreement with Near East University.

The agreement, signed by the Rector of Final International University, Prof. Dr. Orhan Gemikonaklı, and the Rector of Near East University, Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, aims to strengthen cooperation in education, research, scientific production, and academic exchange. The partnership is expected to create new opportunities for both institutions and contribute to the advancement of higher education in Northern Cyprus. 

As an institution committed to quality education, internationalization, and student-centered learning, Final International University continues to expand its academic collaborations and foster a culture of scientific cooperation. The newly signed protocol covers a broad range of activities, including academic staff and student mobility, joint research projects, scientific events, conferences, seminars, and workshops.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Rector of Final International University, Prof. Dr. Orhan Gemikonaklı, emphasized the long-term value of the partnership and expressed his confidence that the agreement would lead to sustainable and productive outcomes.

Prof. Dr. Gemikonaklı stated:

“I sincerely hope that the protocol we signed today will evolve into a long-lasting, productive, and exemplary partnership. The proximity of our two neighboring universities creates an excellent opportunity to establish a much stronger academic and scientific synergy.” 

He further emphasized that this close relationship would contribute to joint research initiatives, academic exchange, and the mobility of both students and faculty members, ultimately generating added value for both institutions.
