FIU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gülşen Musayeva Vefal was invited for the third time by AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs)  to be a member of their International Expert Board for accreditation of  undergraduate programs. AQAS, which is based in central Germany, is one of the world’s top accrediting agencies, and has audited some 5,500 university programs in Germany and across Europe to date.

The accreditation process provides institutions with a comprehensive assessment of quality and quality assurance processes, including design and validation of undergraduate programs, student-centered learning, teaching and assessment, student admissions, progress, recognition and certification, lecturers, learning resources and student support and more. Dr. Musayeva Vefali conducted evaluation for the undergraduate programs in the relevant university for Language Education and Literature.

The entire process takes place within the framework of the standards and guidelines of The European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
