For the 2018-209 Academic Year, FIU is adding five new programs, to the fifteen already established since the University opened in the 2015-2016 academic year. These new programs, all approved by the Turkish Higher Education Council are: Law, Psychology (in English), Special Education Teacher Training, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.

Since the day of its establishment, FIU has maintained its growth targets without compromising its quality principles. The newly opened programs have been determined by taking into account the needs of the era and with meticulous attention to quality staffing and technical infrastructure to ensure applied as well as theoretical excellence.
