With the broadcast of BRT 1 HD, which was organized in collaboration with Final International University, BRTK and the Ministry of Education and Culture, “Young Chefs at Final”, the Grand Final Champion of the High School Food Competition winners were announced.

In cooperation with Final International University, Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) and the Ministry of Education and Culture, Haydarpaşa High School were the winners of the Grand Final ” Young Chefs at Final”. Five high schools competed to become the champion in the Grand Final, which was broadcasted live on BRT1 HD and held at the Final International University Gastronomy Kitchen.

Our nationally-known chefs Selim Yeşilpınar, Ali Damdelen and Erhan Üçüncüoğlu, and the famous Turkish Chef Hazer Amani were the jury members as well as Muazzez Ganioğlu, a well-known culinary artist.

Education scholarship awards from Final International University

Gazimağusa High School, Kyrenia Tourism Vocational High School, Güzelyurt Vocational High School, Haydarpaşa High School and Karpaz Vocational High School teams took part in the exciting night and the champions of the night, Haydarpaşa High School students, won 100% scholarship at Final International University, knife sets and also a cooking show shooting at BRTK.

The runners up of the competition, Güzelyurt Vocational High School, won a 90% scholarship at Final International University, while the third place, Girne Tourism Vocational High School, won a 80% scholarship at Final International University.

Gazimağusa High School, who came fourth, and Karpaz Vocational High School, which took fifth place won a 70% scholarship at Final International University.

The teams received their awards from the Rector of Final International University, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Öztoprak, Director of BRTK Aysu Basri Akter, Director of Vocational Technical Education Department Aytunç Şirket, Ministry of Education and Culture Director of Higher Education and Foreign Relations Ziya Öztürkler, Member of YODAK.
