FIU hosted the chess courses of the silver horse Chess Association Kyrenia. During the training given by association president Cengiz Hasman and Halil Şentuğ, the participants of the course were informed about the opening, mid-game and end-of-game stages in chess. Following the theoretical knowledge the participants had the opportunity to play matches amongst themselves. The silver horse Chess Association, which used the FIU architecture studio for the duration of the chess course, thanked the university officials for hosting it.
