1. Check the Academic Calendar and plan your travel according to the dates you need to be in the TRNC. https://www.final.edu.tr/akademiktakvim
2. Fill in the information (vaccination, transportation, etc.) given in the following link: www.online.final.edu.tr/vac.  This form has to be filled 72 hours prior to your arrival.
3. As stated in the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Health, the  different entry criterias to the TRNC are set depending on the colour codes of the countries that you have been to before coming to the TRNC and whether you have been vaccinated or not. These criteria are updated periodically. To see the current criterion, check the updates of the TRNC entry rules from the website of the TRNC Ministry of Health at https://saglik.gov.ct.tr/COVID-19/%C3%9CLKELERE-G%C3%96RE-RENK-KODLARI

The current table announced as of 10 September 2021 is as follows:

GREEN:

VACCINATED or HAVE HAD THE DISEASE; No restrictions.
UNVACCINATED; Negative PCR result for the last 72 hours before your trip. Quarantine-Free Entry. Students coming from these countries will not be tested for Covid-19 at the gates.
 

ORANGE:

VACCINATED or HAVE HAD THE DISEASE;
Negative PCR result within the last 72 hours before your trip. Quarantine-free entry.

UNVACCINATED;
Negative PCR result within the last 72 hours before your trip. 5 days quarantine.

Covid-19 tests will be applied at all entrance gates of students who will come from these countries, only those who are unvaccinated.

RED:

VACCINATED or HAVE HAD THE DISEASE;
Negative PCR result within the last 72 hours before your trip. 7 Day Quarantine

UNVACCINATED;
Negative PCR result within the last 72 hours before your trip. 10 days quarantine
Covid-19 tests will be applied at all entrance gates, regardless of whether students coming from these countries are vaccinated.

DARK RED:

Students who will come from Dark Red Countries with a student certificate to be notified by the National Education and Culture Ministry or to register as a new student will be able to enter the country on the condition that they spend 14 days in quarantine and submit a negative PCR result within the last 72 hours before your trip. Vaccine, transportation, etc. information must be filled in www.online.final.edu.tr/vac.

Please check the information below for quarantine conditions.

4.    The entry conditions of the highest risk country that the student has been to in the last 10 days will be valid for passengers coming to the TRNC.

5.    Students who will enter the TRNC as of 06.09.2021 will need to fill out the passenger form at adapass.gov.ct.tr and enter the island with the QR code that will be provided.  You must print out this document containing your QR code and only then you will be able to enter the country. 

• TRNC citizens must add “ADAPASS”, Turkish citizens must add “HEALTHPASS”, and citizens of other countries must add valid vaccination cards and/or PCR test results to the section specified in the application. Since the attached documents will be checked upon entry to the country, you must bring your printouts with you.

6.    General Rules for PCR Tests

• PCR tests are accepted only in Turkish, English and French, and only if they have a QR code.
• The last 72 hours for which the PCR test is requested is based on the date the sample is submitted for the PCR test. If you are arriving via a connecting flight, the start date of your travel is the date you start your first flight. This date needs to be within 3 days from the date you enter the island, otherwise your PCR test will not be accepted.

7.    Quarantine Options

       OPTION 1:  DORMITORY

Students who have a valid dormitory registration (minimum 1 semester) of Final International University with complete contract and payment for the upcoming semester must download the "Stay Safe" application from (https://kktckarantina.com/) before coming to the country. Provided that you complete your payment, you can complete your quarantine period in your dormitory without paying an accommodation fee.

Students who will spend their quarantine in the same dormitory must agree to spend the quarantine together in the same room. In case of violation of the dormitory quarantine rules, the TRNC authorities place the violator in the central quarantine and charge the violator.

Electronic wristbands are used together with the “Stay Safe” mobile application and since this application only works on smartphones, students must download the application and complete the necessary documents and information before traveling. If the "Stay Safe" electronic wristband fee of 750 TL is not paid before boarding the plane, you will not be able to enter the country even if you are accepted on the plane. Our university will transfer students who will spend the quarantine period in the dormitories free of charge.

For students who will spend their quarantine at the dormitory free of charge, 3 meals a day will be provided upon request (3$/25TL per meal).

OPTION 2:  HOME QUARANTINE

Students with approved rental contracts can complete their quarantine period in their rented houses by providing that they downloaded the "Stay Safe" application (https://kktckarantina.com/) and completed their electronic wristband registration and payment before they come to the country. Students who do not comply with the home quarantine rules will be sent to the central quarantine, and they will pay the quarantine fees themselves.

Electronic wristbands are used together with the “Stay Safe” mobile application and since this application only works on smartphones, students must download the application and complete the necessary document and information procedures before they start traveling. If the "Stay Safe" electronic wristband fee of 750 TL is not paid, students will not be able to enter the country even if accepted on the plane.

OPTION 3:  SPECIAL QUARANTINE ORGANISED BY THE UNIVERSITY

Students who do not have a residence, rental agreement or registration agreement in the dormitories of the University in the TRNC, can complete their quarantine period in the special quarantine center organized by the University by providing they downloaded the "Stay Safe" application (https://kktckarantina.com/) and have completed their electronic wristband registration and payment. Students who will spend their quarantine in this center must stay in double rooms( for 2) and they must also agree to spend the quarantine together.

Students who do not comply with the home quarantine rules will be placed in the central quarantine, and they will pay the quarantine fees themselves. Electronic wristbands are used together with the “Stay Safe” mobile application and since this application only works on smartphones, students must download the application and complete the necessary document and information procedures before they start traveling. If the "Stay Safe" electronic bracelet fee of 750 TL is not paid, you will not be able to enter the country even if you are accepted on the plane.

In addition, since places are limited, the accommodation fee of 10 euros/100TL per day must be paid in advance and reservation must be made before arrival. For students who will spend their quarantine in our private quarantine center, 3 meals a day will be provided upon request (10euros/100TL per day).  Our university will provide free transportation for students who will spend the quarantine period in our private quarantine center.

OPTION 4:  CENTRAL QUARANTINE ORGANIZED BY THE TRNC GOVERNMENT

Students who do not have a residence, a place to stay documented with a rental agreement or a dormitory registration with a completed payment in the TRNC will be placed in central quarantine.  (5-14 days quarantine depending on the country they came from). The transfer to the quarantine center provided by the TRNC state and the passengers will pay the transfer fee themselves.
