Certificate Ceremony Held at FIU for English and First Aid Courses

The certificate ceremony for the intensive English courses and first aid course jointly organized by Final International University Continuing Education Center and Girne Municipality Cultural Center was held on January 12 at the main campus of Final International University. More than 90 trainees received training in the courses that took place between November 1, 2021 and January 5, 2022. The trainees who completed the first phase of the basic and intermediate level English courses and completed the four-week first aid training received their certificates at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Final International University rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yaratan emphasized the importance of speaking English and having first aid training and expressed that FIU Continuing Education Center aim to offer lifelong education experience to the public through a variety of courses in cooperation with Girne Municipality.

Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü stated that universities are not only places that focus on science, but also institutions that should be intertwined with the public, and that this is well shown with these courses.

Then, International Final University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin YARATAN, Mayor of Girne Nidai GÜNGÖRDÜ, Director of Continuing Education Center Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet KANIK, Director of Vocational School of Health Services Assist. Prof. Dr. Pervin TAŞEL and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil KAMIŞLI presented the trainees with their certificates.
