The picnic event, annually organized by Final International University, took place in Yeşilırmak on 22nd May with participation of students and FIU administratives and academic staff.

In the picnic, the administratives chatted with the students and stated that they prepared different surprises for the students. They continued “Prior to the pandemic, we were organizing picnic events for our students. During the pandemic, we had to take a break from these activities. With the softening of the pandemic restrictions around the world, we started to organize events for our students. One of these activities is the picnic we have organized. I think it will be a good organization for our students to socialize.”

The event started with setting fire to the barbecue. The students had a lot of fun at the picnic, in which there were various activities. While some students were swimming, others played volleyball and backgammon. In the event, the students, both local and international, performed dance performances in the picnic area to the music played. Despite the rain, the students continued to have fun with the DJ performance and didn't leave the area. The students enjoyed a barbecue feast. Before the end of the event, a surprise gift draw was held.
Students stated: “We missed such events at our university. We would like to thank our university administration and instructors for their efforts for this organization that allows us to socialize and have fun.”

Towards the end of the event, the students took photos and showed exemplary behaviour by cleaning the picnic area.
