Program Aim and Outcomes

The Architecture program is a four-year, full-time, professional undergraduate program focused on architectural design. It aims to offer students the opportunity to build a career in an exciting, creative, and rapidly evolving industry with significant global impact. In this program, students will learn how to bring their visions and designs to life, compatible with the contemporary world's concept of "speed," which has the potential to improve and beautify the lives of numerous people. Through the practical experience gained as part of this program, students can see how their work can transform into tangible works that benefit their communities.

The program, accepting that architecture is a creative process that brings aesthetics and function together, aims to create environments for students to enhance their design skills and creativity. Additionally, it is designed to produce individuals who are trained in architectural communication skills, capable of using relevant software and technologies, possessing a technical foundation in building design and construction techniques, knowledgeable about energy efficiency, material selection, and green design, and are capable of working in a team, respecting ethical values, and being socially responsible.

Students will receive information on various aspects of the architectural profession, including project management and customer relations, and gain knowledge about practical, professional, and technological practices related to the commercial world. They will have opportunities to work on design projects in diverse social and topographic environments, ranging from simple/small residences and structures to complex mega-cities and events.

The International Final University Architecture program is an accredited undergraduate program by higher education authorities (YÖK and YÖDAK). It prepares students for postgraduate studies in architecture, and graduates use their knowledge in creative design, strategic thinking, teamwork, and organizational skills to pursue successful careers in the professional field.
