Program Aim and Outcomes

Competencies gained by the Dentistry Undergraduate Program:

  • Makes the necessary evaluation, definition and planning for dental practices by using the theoretical, applied concepts and principles related to the field of dentistry.
  • Implements the dentistry program systematically and safely within the framework of ethical principles by using the advanced knowledge and skills that is acquired.
  • Takes initiatives to protect individual, family and community health; contributes to the production of health policies suitable for the changing and diversifying needs of the society in the field of dentistry.
  • Organizes the dental services effectively and adequately, manages the business processes necessary for the continuity and development of the quality and organizational function; produces solutions against problems in line with knowledge and evidence.
  • It carries out professional and academic studies independently by using its knowledge and works as a team member and assumes responsibility in effective communication and cooperation with other professional groups working in this field.
