Information

The Prosthetic Dentistry Doctorate program offers opportunities for work and internship experiences around the world. It is open to both international and Cypriot students. It is designed according to European standards and guidelines and the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a Doctorate Diploma in Prosthetic Dentistry.

Program Application Conditions

Candidates who will apply to the doctoral program must meet the following conditions:

Diploma and Graduation Degree: The applicant must have a master's degree in Dentistry in order to be accepted to the doctoral program. Candidates applying to the doctoral program must have a graduation degree that meets the minimum grade point average determined by the Department of Prosthodontics.

ALES score: Candidates must get at least 55 (fifty-five) standard points from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) in order to be accepted to the doctoral program. In addition, ALES condition is not required for students from other countries and TRNC except Turkey.

Foreign Language Exam: The language of instruction in the doctoral program is Turkish. Candidates applying to the program must get at least 55 points from the international language exams accepted by the Council of Higher Education and OSYM, for programs in Turkish.

Candidates apply to the relevant Department within the announced application period and submit the ALES result document, foreign language document and other documents determined by the Institute in the application.

Those who enroll in doctoral programs may also be asked to attach a letter of reference to their petition and an explanation of why they want to pursue graduate studies.

For admission to the doctoral program, the ALES score and the graduate degree in Dentistry are evaluated. An oral evaluation is made through the interview, taking into account the reference letter submitted by the student with the application form and the petition stating the goals.
